We are proud to have had Ray as our Head Professional here at Jacksonville Golf & Country Club for the past 17 years.

Ray’s passion for the game and for the business remains strong and his dedication to the Club and its members gives him much joy each day.

  • Ryan Mikesell, PGA

    • Ryan Mikesell, Assistant Golf Professional

Ryan brings with him more than 14 years experience in the golf industry and 11 years as a PGA Class A Professional. He is working on a certification in general management as part of his continuing education with the PGA of America.
Since 2007, Ryan has taken on multiple roles in the resort and private club sector. He started his career in Jacksonville in a role with the outside operations team at TPC Sawgrass shortly after earning his PGA classification. He has spent most of his golf career as an assistant professional, head professional and a short time as general manager at a nearby privately owned club in Ponte Vedra Beach.
Leading up to his experiences in the PGA, Ryan achieved some milestones as a golfer. He competed in intercollegiate golf on a golf scholarship for the Indiana University East Golf Team and went on to successfully pass his players ability test, his first attempt, as a pre-requisite for the PGA of America.
During his free time, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family. His wife, Annie, is an elementary school teacher in Jacksonville, FL. Ryan and Annie have three young children, Elly, Claire, and Sawyer. Much of his time away from his duties as a Golf Professional is spent enjoying his young family.
Ryan is a very approachable and sincere individual and a welcomed addition to our team. He is anxious to get to know our members, our club and provide the highest level of service to our membership.

Over the last 9 years before joining Jax Golf, Tyler spent his time working at Meadowbrook Golf Club and Adena Golf and Country Club. He is very excited to be a part of the team here at JGCC and looks forward to meeting each and every member.
